Seller closed account
I purchased an item that was damaged in several ways and not disclosed in the listing. The seller allows returns and I have set up a return but the eBay account that I purchased from has mysteriously closed the day before I received my item. I suspect fraud and am hesitant to return. Any advice or experience with this type of thing would be appreciated.

I am sorry that happened! the seller has been removed from eBay. follow the steps in the return request and you will get your refund. eBay will force the refund if needed.
You should open a Return Request. The reason could be "Damaged or Defective Item", "Missing Parts & Pieces" OR "Different from what I ordered > Didn't Match Description" if the item you got was not what was shown and described.

Do not close your return request until you either have your refund in hand or you have the replacement item. Do not close it because the seller promises you something.
