Seller closed a return/refund I requested and nothing got resolved on my end
I bought a baseball card, the item description was not the card that I actually received. I asked the seller if they would be okay to issue me a partial refund outside of ebay, (I have screen shots of our conversation), they agreed to it. Then I message them multiple times asking them to give me that refund and they completly ignored my messages so I went to do a full refund/return directly on ebay. The seller then gave me some **bleep** message after that and offered a miniscule partial refund (less than we had agreed to), which I declined, then later that night I got a message from ebay saying the seller had closed the request. I'm left with zero refund and no option to have ebay to step in and handle this and no option to appeal this. It's been impossible to get in contact with a real agent from ebay and their automated chat bot just leads me to a dead end every single time. What am I supposed to do? I want to send the card back to the seller for lying on their listing description, get a full refund and be done with this.

Mentor5 months ago@jcvaultpro I am sorry that you had a bad seller. You should have filed the official return request on eBay right away. Unfortunately you only have 3 days from the date of delivery to file a eBay Money Back Guarantee return for trading cards. An agent can not extend this time line or they'd have to do it for everyone. This is most likely why the seller was able to close the case.
Your only option now is a chargeback with your payment method. The seller will be charged a much deserved $20 dispute fee in addition to having to refund you in full for an item that was significantly not as described.
