Seller charged me postage
Summary: norm.kel expressed frustration with a seller who charged for delivery despite advertising free delivery and inadequately paying postage, leading to an additional charge from Royal Mail. The seller initially blamed eBay but eventually claimed it was Royal Mail's fault, refusing to reimburse the extra cost. norm.kel also noted that eBay was not responsive to the issue of misleading advertising by the seller.
Seller charged me delivery when advert says free delivery. Seller did not pay enough postage with Royal Mail, I paid the difference as I did not know which order it was forvas I had ordered some disability aids from another seller so paid Royal Mail £3.50 when I received a card saying I had to pay in order to receive my item. Seller said not her fault, it was Royal Mails fault, she blamed ebay first but then admitted it was Royal Mail. Seller refused to reimburse me the £3.50, even though her advert says free delivery. Surely not fair to advertise free delivery then refuse to pay for her under payment to Royal Mail. Ebay just not interested in this seller advertising incorrect infformation by this seller.

I see you are located in the UK, this happens to be the US eBay Community and some processes and procedures vary between the two eBay domains. Here is a convenient link to the UK eBay Community. You will be better served by asking your question(s) there: eBay UK | eBay Community
