Seller Can't Send Return Label
Summary: ecclectiblesny discusses an issue with a seller who refunded a damaged item but failed to provide a return shipping label. They are being asked to send the item back via USPS and seek reimbursement, despite being told a label was created. rfmtm advises that once a refund is issued, a return is typically not required, but if ecclectiblesny chooses to return it, the seller must create a new label. disneyshopper suggests using an online service to generate the return label for convenience.
I made purchase that I was able to return for misrepresentation. Seller thought it was new but I found damage. Seller says he created a return label through Ebay. I got an email saying to wait for my return label- which never came. Seller refunded me same day, assuming the package was on its way. He wants the item back- I want a shipping label. He is asking me to send it via USPS and he'll reimburse me. Ebay gives steep discount shipping and its twice as much via USPS. This is not my responsibility- and it should be easy on his end to create a label . He is saying he created and paid for a return label but he can't see it from his end. Zero help or feedback from Ebay.

Mentor1 month agoTell the seller to go to pirateship.com to create the return shipping label and send to you, so you can return the item.

Mentor1 month agoOnce seller refunds the return label is cancelled and the case is closed with no return required. If you want to be nice and still return it, seller will have to create his own return label and email it to you. Do not paid for your own label or you likely will not see those funds repaid. The seller messed up, so he has to fix this.
