Seller cancelled sale - after they had sent me a tracking number

Question

I put in the asking price for an item after contacting the seller to ask questions about the item he was selling.

Got a receipt, got a tracking number.

Next up I get a message to say my money has been refunded and the sale cancelled.

That's two really odd things that have happened on Ebay recently which has put me off using ebay

This is not unusual. Some sellers have problems with making up their mind. BTW, you're on the US boards. It's an eBay glitch. Here is the UK community: https://community.ebay.co.uk/
