Seller cancelled order after auction ended
Seller cancelled order after auction closed. Seller re listed exact same item with a higher starting bid. Seller states cancellation due to item being out of stock or damaged. Clearly neither seeing same item listed with same photos etc.
Does eBay check on reasons sellers cancel orders? This is against policy

What was the original starting price for the auction you won?
The Seller got an Out of Stock strike on their account, if they continue doing this then they can receive suspension(s), restrictions or banishment.
You should be able to use the Report item link on the listing, the Seller may have added you to their blocked list but you should still be able to use the Report item link on the active listing.

OP2 years agoI did finally get to speak with an eBay agent . Seller was clearly in violation of eBay policy. eBay stated they would be dealing with the seller. Hopefully a little time on my end will stop this from happening to someone else.
