Seller Cancelled My Purchase and misrepresented reason as Buyer requested Cancellation
I am stewing because I am out $265 for 3-5 business days because a seller decided to cancel an item I agreed to purchase through the offer process. The seller placed the cancellation reason ‘buyer requested to cancel’. I am extremely disappointed in the seller, and secondly in eBay there are no safeguards to prevent this action from occurring without validating the action was actually at the request of the buyer, and not the misrepresentation of the seller. What upsets me even more is the item was relisted the same day I cancelled. No response yet from the seller on why this action was taken. What actions can I take?

1. Select The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies and click Continue.
2. On the next page, enter the seller's ID and select Other.
3. In the comment section, write something similar to, "In order to avoid a defect, seller cancelled order stating that I requested the cancellation." I did not request the cancellation.
