Seller cancelled item
I purchased an item from a seller in Australia. Payment went through but then the seller cancelled it with a description of “buyer request to cancelâ€. I didn’t request cancellation.
The seller has refunded the money. The item is no longer appearing from the seller on eBay.
In Australia if a seller has taken payment, aren’t they obliged to complete the sale?
I probably wouldn’t be bothered but it was a good price and I’m annoyed that the said that I had requested the cancellation when I hadn’t.
I would like to ask eBay about this also but the bot doesn’t provide answers and the automation says I can’t query items that have been refunded. That would be fine if it was my choice, but it wasn’t.
Any suggestions?
