seller cancelled an order and blamed it on buyer

I purchased an item under an offer and paid immediately. Seller cancelled with no communication or explanation and blames me for the cancellation. I did not request it. Will this effect my feedback score? Shouldn't they have to take ownership of the cancellation?

The seller misrepresented the reason for the cancellation to get out of earning a defect on his seller metrics. That's a policy violation. You can report the seller here:
