Seller cancelled a transaction because he didn't like the winning bid/ eBay will do nothing about it
Summary: ricksbay expressed frustration over a seller cancelling a transaction on eBay simply because they disliked the winning bid. lady_madonna seems to have acknowledged this situation but did not add further details or resolution. eBay has not intervened in the situation, leaving the initial poster without a resolution.
am so **bleep** at eBay. I've been the victim of fraud from a seller- and they aren't doing anything about it. I won the highest bid on an item and paid for it and the shipping. I never received the item because the seller cancelled the transaction. He had no legitimate reason to do so and has not communicated with me despite my messages. I reported to eBay and they have basically ignored me. This despite my being a buyer of over 1300 items over the years! I left negative feedback for the seller and he had the nerve to laugh it off. EBay needs to enforce their policies if they want to have any credibility as a legitimate marketing site. I wont give the seller's whole name but let's say he's a collector from a very famous gambling site in Nevada. I would have let this go, but he wont have the last laugh.

Mentor4 months agoEbay cannot physically force a seller to ship the item to the buyer. When the seller cancelled the transaction they received a defect from Ebay. Ebay keeps track of seller defects.
