Seller canceling sale
Yesterday, I purchased two items from different sellers and both sales were canceled by the sellers. The first was an auction that I won. The seller emailed me saying the item was "lost". If she finds it, she will relist it. I feel strongly that this seller didn't like the price it brought and will "find" it later and price it higher with no auction.
The second cancellation was for an offer I received and accepted. The seller said that ebay made the offer without their knowledge and they cannot sell the item for that price-they would lose money.
Is there any way to sanction these sellers? If a buyer cancels a sale or returns an item, sellers will block them. It seems the buyer has no recourse with dishonest sellers who don't honor their prices.
