Seller canceled order/How to register complaint
Hey all,
I won an auction with free shipping, then the seller canceled the order due to "item damaged or out of stock". They did refund me. I contacted the seller asking for more information as to the reason(s) for the cancellation.
They got back to me saying that they had mistakenly put down free shipping. The shipping was going to actually cost them around $70.00.
I replied saying that I was wiling to pay that shipping cost but never heard back. Long story short I think that the real reason they canceled was because my winning bid was too low for them. So I am wondering where and how on the eBay website to complain and make sure they are dinged for that.
Thanks for your help!

Mentor2 years agoWhen the seller cancelled the transaction for out of stock/damaged, a defect was recorded on the seller's account. That is the one reason that can get a seller restricted or suspended, so many sellers will select one of two reasons that will not give them a defect. Your seller was honest about the cancellation.
