Seller canceled
I after purchasing an item (1 available), I received a refund about 2 days later from the seller, stating item was canceled, out of stock. Just checking that this would be due totally on the sellers end, perhaps relisting after it was sold or whatever, & not a glitch on EBay listing.

No, it's not a glitch. The seller cancelled the order stating that he was out of stock. This earned him a defect on his seller record. Too many of those, and he won't be selling for long.
You can search for the item to see if the seller relisted it for more. If he did, you can report that. Otherwise, accept that he had an error in his inventory and didn't any longer have the item that was sold to you. Sometimes mistakes happen.
