Seller Blocked me after purchase not received
A year ago, I purchased 2 plaque headstones from a seller. The 1st plaque was for my dog "Willie" I lost 3 months before and the 2nd was for my youngest dog "Izzy" I'd lost that week. The seller was very understanding and worked with me on both plaques but allowed me to focus on 1 at a time.
After narrowing down what I wanted on the 1st plaque, it was shipped out & received beautifully. We even placed it in concrete & I added his paw print to the top. I sent the seller a photo of the final piece & they agreed on how wonderful it turned out. Keep in mind that that process didn't happen in a few weeks time but took 2 months. Deciding what went on the plaque to placing it in its final place. I had raved on the feedback how wonderful my experience was with the seller & how much I would highly recommend them.
My 2nd plaque, I was still grieving hard & couldn't narrow down on the epitaph. As before, the seller worked with me but had went on vacation. Then it seemed harder to get them to message me back after finalizing the epitaph. Then NO RESPONSE. I tried multiple times but still nothing & could not figure out why even giving the seller ample time to reply. So I asked ebay to step in. Unfortunately, my buyer protection is ONLY good for 90 days and my purchase time had exceeded that.
Heart broken, I tried several more times to contact the seller, not known that they had already blocked me. I REALLY want this item for my Izzy so I tried repurchasing it from the original store on eBay then found another eBay seller with the same product. Turns out, same seller, same outcome. BLOCKED. So I explored outside ebay to Etsy - same seller.
My last 2 resorts are to 1 - make a new buyer account & try that way or get a friend to purchase it for me. The only problem I see in either of those if that the seller will recognize the epitaph & the dog it is for. What should I do?
