Seller being overcharged by Fedex for inaccurate weight exceptions
Fedex has incorrectly adjusted my shipping costs saying that the item was 14 pounds instead of 6 pounds. When trying to contact Fedex they shut the door by asking me for my Fedex account number, which I don't have as the shipping fees are processed through eBay. On the other hand, eBay has no direct lines of communication about a matter like this. Any suggestions on how to best resolve this issue? Thanks

The exception was declared in Ocala, FL @3:51 am .
The item is a leaf blower with a battery, and the manufacturer lists it as 6.6 lbs. Mine did not have a battery, so it was listed at 6 lbs. I think someone put their thumb on the scale. Thanks for responding.

Mentor1 year agoIt sounds like Fed Ex is using dimensional weight for your item. What were the dimensions of the package?
