seller avoid to return item

Question

Hello, I bought shoes and found out they were fake.

So request to refund and return the item to the seller.

The problem is that the first attempt by the post officer to deliver it failed because nobody answered.

but they left a notice but the seller hasn't tried to get it back. Furthermore, he keeps extending pending the case because he did not get it back.

In this case, what should I do? The item will be delivered back to me if the guy won't take it.

Please help me I have no idea what to do

Ask customer service for assistance. They will usually count the attempt as delivery.
