Seller at the bottom end of eBay concerns?
Since 1995 I have been a moderate seller on eBay, maybe a thousand sales and many more purchases.
100% feedback in all this time. Last month, I listed a very nice Pentax camera that I had found hiding in my closet for 30 years or so. I listed this item accurately and placed it for auction at $75.00 and a 'Buy it Now' for $125.00. With no bids being placed, a buyer jumped on the 'Buy it Now' option. I had mentioned in the listing that the battery for the light meter was obviously dead. Buyer contacted me and said he had replaced the battery and the meter did not work. I agreed to pay for any needed repairs and/or offer a discount. Buyer demanded a refund. I gave him the camera and full refund, and then he had the nerve to leave negative feedback that dropped me from 100% to 90%. I have been contacting eBay complaining that this buyer has never sold a single item, and from his feedback has pulled this s**t several times before. eBay has taken his side in every instance. Where are the Seller protections? I have notified eBay that I will no longer sell on this site. Their response is 'Oh well'.
Look at my feedback. Paragon8. Tell me what you think.
