Seller asked for a refund, but got the item, what should I do.
The buyer purchased and item from me for $28.98 and it was shipped within the two day time frame. Approximately 10 tens later the buyer asked for a refund because the item had not arrived. I checked the tracking number.
The package was delivered to Florida from NJ and sent back to NJ. When I saw this I issued refund. When I checked the tracking number again I saw that the package was not on its way back to Florida. I sent a message to the buyer and advised them. I then asked them to send the package back to me and I would pay for shipping. I have not heard back from them and they have the delivered package.
How should I handle this, whenever I try to work it out with ebay its all bots and they suggestion dont fit. I wouldn't mind if it was a few dollars, but it almost $29. Thank You....

There is nothing you can do other than continue to try to contact the buyer.
Instead of offering to reimburse return shipping, try offering to send a return label. You can buy one at pirateship.com, print it to a jpeg file and send it in an eBay message. Or, if they want to keep it, how would they like to repay the refund that you sent? Zelle? Paypal? Venmo?
