Seller and eBay maligning our character
Any ideas how to deal with a seller who sends China of which 5 pieces are broken then despite photographic evidence claims we are a scam? The items account for about 70% of the value.
i have reported her to eBay using their abusive behavior procedures.
I spoke to eBay …finally who said return everything but we are not confident the seller won’t allege it’s all broken on return.
Today we get a screen shot of a text chat between her and eBay in which eBay agree we should not be able to return items for buyers remorse. So now we are scammers and have buyers remorse!!!
Adding to injury…I can only assume the reply was a chat bot…..the bloody thing tells her she is awesome…..
ebay are now complicit in maligning our character.
anyone have a number for someone high up?

Mentor2 years ago@kjt1405. eBay can't force the seller to refund you without returning the china.
You need to file a refund request and send the China back at the sellers expense.
Reason >> arrived damaged
I am sorry that you had a bad seller. You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. This not only gets you a full refund but also goes on the sellers record.
You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.
Select the return item button on this page: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item?id=4041
Doesn't match pictures or description.
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.
See this link to the USPS website that shows which countries have delivery confirmation for 1st class international packages.
