seller account "suspended indefinitely" -- buyers happily received my items and ebay seizes $!!
I'm totally shocked that ebay has shut down my seller's account a second time after providing documentation that I'd purchased a set of 40 GPUs from new egg! Both times they provided next to zero explanation for why they suspended my account. I assumed it was a simple misunderstanding on their and and provided the documentation (i.e., my legitimate receipt for $40k for the original purchase ) and they removed the first ridiculous suspension on my account. After I sold 20 of them, they decided to shut it down again and hold the majority of my $10k 8 weeks ago! The last message I received from ebay says 1) my auctions have been shut down; 2) I'm a threat to the ebay community (satisfied buyers and a well compensated auction house) and I have therefore been SUSPENDED; 3) MY funds have been held until suspension is lifted; 4) suspension is INDEFINITE!! 5) there is NO recourse and they will not answer any questions or respond to my messages to try to get the suspension lifted OR even figure out what the hell they think I did !!!!????
It's like some sort of terrible dystopian automated overlord movie -- but very much my reality! Almost unbelievable because the premise is so absurd and undeserved!!
Any idea what the hell I can do short of suing them in small claims??? They happily received levied steep fees on my sales and watched dozens of satisfied purchasers receive my GPUs at an enormous discount so I could sell them quickly... and then stole my money and disappeared just as the normal new-seller funds hold period was coming to an end and they would have to release my payout. I'm absolutely certain that I didn't break any rules selling my hardware and I was certainly never notified that any part of my equipment liquidation even had a remote possibility of breaching their rules or codes of conduct. My notification was limited to being informed that I'm a "danger to the ebay community" totally out of the blue and with zero substantiation or evidence for those claims!!
This sort of draconian overlord behavior is not only weird, but it's intensely damaging to me and the cashflow I was relying on! That was the entire reason I signed up as an ebay seller to quickly liquidate (at an enormous loss) for immediate cash. The worst part is that they have never mentioned what they think I did wrong nor have any examples of even a dissatisfied buyer!!
ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME! I'M REALLY OUT OF OPTIONS! Thanks to everyone in advance! Hope this insane scenario doesn't happen to anyone else....
