seller account deleted, return not legally feasible
Hello ,
I would like to request eBay’s direct intervention in this case.
Although a FedEx return label has been provided by the system, the seller’s account has already been deleted.
This means there is no legally accountable receiving party for the return shipment.
Under these circumstances, returning the item creates a significant risk for the buyer, including:
No responsible recipient
No guarantee of receipt
No legal entity to acknowledge delivery
No accountability in case of loss or refusal
Additionally, this return was opened under “Item not as described.â€, which is covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Since the seller is no longer registered on eBay, I respectfully request eBay to:
Formally step in
Resolve this case directly
Process a refund without requiring physical return
This situation is caused by the seller’s account deletion, not by buyer fault.

Mentor8 months ago@a1275-34 You need to mail the item back using the Fed Ex label provided. While eBay has closed the sellers account they are still able to process returns. eBay will force the refund from the sellers account so it takes no action on the sellers part.
A seller can not close their own account within 60 days of a sale.
You can try contacting customer service if you wish but what I suggested is the path of least resistance.
