Seller accepted my offer; sold item to another buyer
I submitted an offer, actually it was a counteroffer to a seller. The seller accepted my counteroffer, when I attempted to pay for said items the payment window errored out. When I attempted a second time, I the page showed the item had been sold. I emailed the seller and their response when I asked if they sold the item to another was "lol yep sorry about that". Where can I report this seller?

Offers are not exclusive and the item is not sold until you pay for it. There is no reason to report the seller.
When a seller accepts an offer the item remains available for anyone to purchase until it is paid for.

OP3 weeks agoits called 'bad business' and I sure did report it to ebay. All of my previous offers/counteroffers have been automatically paid when there is acceptance. Immediate Payment means the item is paid for. Thank you for your response, I have read every word on the ebay website, incuding your link before I posted here. The reason for my post was more of an inquiry as to how often something like this occurs. It's a great day at Ebay
