Seller abusing ebay return system to avoid refund.
I bought a soldering iron, it arrived defective.
Started a return item not as described, item defective seller accepted return.
We are now 7 days in on this and I still have not gotten a return label nor refund and I have no options in my return to ask ebay to step in. Is my only option to dispute this with my card company?

Once the Seller accepts an Item Not as Described refund request on eBay, that should automatically generate a prepaid return label from eBay. Have you checked the email connected with your eBay account?
I would contact eBay to have them check the status of your case.

Mentor3 weeks agoSince you have not yet received a return label go back to the case and look for "Ask us to step in". This should have appeared after three days from opening the case. If you do not see this then go to your payment source and open a charge back. This will cost the seller a $20 fee from eBay and your payment source decides the case and not eBay so you will most likely win the charge back.

OP3 weeks agoThe ask us to step in is not shown under my return. The seller accepted the return and refuses to send the return label. This is why I was throwing a fit over it.
I'm just going to wait until tomorrow than talk to someone again and see if they will step in then.
