Seeking Advice: Handling Shipping Issues with Online Sales
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to the community to get advice on a difficult situation I'm facing as a seller. I shipped a package on September 7, and it currently shows that it's in the destination state, but the buyer hasn't received it yet. Despite visiting the post office and staying in communication, I haven’t been able to resolve the issue or get in touch with anyone in Illinois for more details.
I'm concerned because it seems like the platform I used might take the payment back, which feels unfair given that I've followed all the correct steps, including keeping a tracking number and communicating actively. I was under the impression that there would be protections for sellers in scenarios like this.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you handle it, and what steps do you recommend to ensure both buyers and sellers are protected in shipping disputes? I'd love to hear your insights and any advice you have on dealing with online sales issues effectively.
Thank you in advance for your support!
