Security, Passwords - Communication By Telephone [not cell phone]
I do NOT use a telephone by which one can send "PASSWORDS", the older telephone type. I can use emails to send messages and receive codes. I appreciate that some of the younger technical types ASSUME that all people have certain capabilities with their electronic devices. Maybe this is true for over 90 percent of the people, but some older guys may still have the older basic means of communication. I have over 7,000 transactions on EBAY. Yes, security is important, but there should be a practical means of basic communication with existing devices. Who is responsible for setting up these newer systems which may still not be useable by a significant number of EBAY customers? Any reasonable, real life available suggests on how to purchase items off EBAY without the "intellectual" assumptions of those who recently changed the communication process to exclude those "older people"? Ball is in your court now!

Mentor8 months agoI have a land line that I use, and have no problems receiving call backs from banks and online websites that need to send me codes to verify who I am. I am 78 years old, and would never use a mobile phone for anything as the text is just too teeny tiny for my eyes, and typing on that thing? Forget about it.
