second chance offers

I Used to give second chance offers all the time. I have an item someone just bought and paid for. I realized I had another one so I went to the drop down box to choose second chance offer and it isn't there anymore. I looked at the items people haven't paid for yet and I see it in those drop down boxes. Certainly there must be a way to offer this once someone has already paid. Can any of you here advise me? Thank you kindly!

When I ran auctions years ago, the Second Chance Offer would only appear if there were underbidders who opted into receiving SCO. I also sent a SCO if I had additional items, and not just due to the unpaid transaction.

Hi @jovapist

I have only ever used the Second chance offer after an item goes UNPAID and the transaction is cancelled. Then the Second chance offer becomes active.

You can always use the Seller similar function on the Sold item to create a duplicate listing and put it up on auction.
