Second chance bids

Question

How do I offer second highest bidder the auction when highest doesn’t pay. I have read every article and still can’t figure it out. Also, how do you leave negative feedback for a deadbeat bidder? All mine was only positive choice or you couldn’t leave it at all.

Here are steps to do a Second Chance Offer

✓ You can do a Second Chance Offer after you have canceled the first sale but haven't relisted yet.

If you sold an item at Auction, and your item is not paid for; after 4 or 7 days the order will cancel for non-payment.

Then:
1) Find your listing here: https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview
2) Select Second Chance Offer from the drop-down list to the right, and then Continue.
3) Select the quantity of items (typically 1) you have to sell, the duration of the offer, and the bidders you want to send offers to. Then select Continue.

==>>Some buyers have opted out of promotional offers, and therefore won't show as eligible for a Second Chance offer.
- In that case, you can't send a Second Chance Offer.
- If you "relist" (not sell similar) all your watchers and prior bidders will be notified.

TIP:
- The first sale must be cancelled
- Don't relist the item
- You will see Second Chance Offer as an option only when the backup bidder allows offers.

Sellers cannot leave negative feedback for any reason. Only positive (green dot) feedback is available. Also, do not leave a "negative comment" along with the positive (green dot) feedback. (That's a policy violation on your account)

TIP: When the sale cancels non-payment, the buyer gets a "strike". This is a hidden thing, but with enough, the buyer will be removed from eBay
