searching for an item
Has any one else noticed that when you type in what you are searching for, that item, Plus a lot of other similar items pop up? It is becoming too much and frustrating. I want to look for a certain item and a whole bunch of unwanted items with one similar characteristic comes up. I am really getting frustrated. I want to see the item I am looking for, not all of the other stuff.

OP2 years agoI was looking at Hallmark ornaments. When I type in the exact title of the ornament including the year, it is mixed in with other ornaments with different titles. I have been on eBay for 20 years and it has never done that before.

Mentor2 years agoIf you are using "Best Match" sort order, try another sort order such as "Newly Listed".
What is the item name? Try putting just the name or just the year in quotes. This should force eBay to provide only exact matches to your search terms without any substitutions or corrections.
If provide a link to the search you are doing or the item name, someone might be able to suggest a search that is more narrowly targeted.
