search with camera on ap is producing odd results
i take a picture with my phone to search up an item and the results do not make sense .
i have included a pic as an example of me searching for a book and the results are crazy

Mentor2 years agoIf the book in question has a bar code, you can scan that with the camera function on the eBay app. If not, unless the cover is distinct, it is hard for the camera to search accurately.

OP2 years agoits not that, i have been using this search tool with camera for a very long time now. it worked perfectly until yesterday morning, then for some reason everything i searched with the camera came up as random results not related at all to anything I take a picture of.

the item i searched is a book aout budhism for an example and things like : duct tape and non related items are coming back in results.
i am not sure if i accidently changed a setting or something . any help is appreciated ty
