Search returns
Previously, when I would search for an item on ebay, the listing would be for my search subject. Lately, the return is full of useless items. This morning I searched for Pfaltzgraff iced tea glasses. The return started with eyeglasses, continues with other brands of glasses (few of which were the size for iced tea), then it turned up miscellaneous garbage. Is there anyway to get precise search results without having to search through the detritus?

Mentor3 years agoWhat search are you doing? If you could provide a link, others can see if the results returned appear to be reasonable or not, or others may be able to make suggestions to narrow your search results.
The following search using only the keywords you specifically mentioned appears to provide reasonable looking results for me, even without narrowing the category or using any filters:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Pfaltzgraff+iced+tea+glasses&_sacat=0
If there are any eyeglasses in those results, I do not see them. All the results appear to be in the Pottery & Glass, Home & Garden or Collectibles categories.

When I search for Pfaltzgraff iced tea glasses, I get Pfaltzgraff iced tea glasses at the top of the list.
