When did eBay start listing "related" items in searches? For example, I wanted to do a search for 1970 P D & S Lincoln Cent and the top listings I saw were for single coins like 1970 D or 1970 S - not for the P D & S that I asked for. Is this new? Do buyers really use the "advanced search" option?
Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoHow are you searching exactly? And what sort order are you using? That can affect the results you see.
If a search returns few results, eBay often provides results matching fewer words, or related searches.
If you are looking specifically for PDS sets, this is one possible search that should avoid many non-set listings, though it may not show all possible results if the seller uses different keywords:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1970+PDS+Lincoln+Cent&_sacat=0&_blrs=spell_auto_correct&_sop=10
Another possible search that finds more results:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1970+%28p.d.s%2Cpds%2Cspd%29+Lincoln+Cent&_sacat=0&_odkw=1970+%28p.d.s%2Cpds%29+Lincoln+Cent&_osacat=0
