search has changed for "PSA 10" graded cards and rendered Saved Search email useless
I have saved search for a number of cards I want to buy ONLY at PSA 10 grade
There has been a change to search in the past two days that has made the results much looser so that all cards are returned, regardless of "PSA 10" grade i have in the search string
It is causing a lot of spam in my email inbox because I only want to receive an email about the card if it has the specific "PSA 10" grade
For example, this saved search "1979 topps 55 willie stargell psa 10 " used to return only results if the card is PSA 10 but now, all "1979 topps 55 willie stargell" cards are returned in the results and it is ignoring the "PSA 10" portion of the search string. As a result there is a lot of unintended auto emails sent to me when I only want an email sent to me if it meets the "PSA 10" criteria.
please revert this change you made to search so that it refines by the "PSA 10" grade that I have in the search string

Mentor2 years agoYou may want to consider temporarily stopping email alerts for the searches affected, and possibly creating a new search with one of your search keywords enclosed in quotes in order to bypass the faulty keyword substitution feature which seems to be producing the irrelevant results.
Or use the Grade filter rather than just using a PSA 10 keyword to search.

Use the "Feedback" link on the search results page to alert eBay to the problem with a particular search. The more users report issues directly to eBay that way, the more likely eBay is to do something about the problem.
