Search changes when right name is in
When I type in the name of a basketball player it automatically switches and therefore I can't go to buy it now or auction because it will switch to the other person that I'm not searching for does anyone know about how to stop this from happening or how I can get a hold of a real person that works with eBay not them just relying on other customers to do their job

Mentor3 years agoWhen eBay substitutes a search keyword, typically there is a note at the top of the results with link to the search with the original keyword that can be used if the substitution is not wanted.
Otherwise, it is possible to put a search keyword in quotes to avoid any keyword substitutions. Using quotes will also prevent automatic category navigation, so you may have to change your category manually.
