Search Algorithm seems off on my account

Hi,

My search algorithm seems off. I'll type an item in the search bar and I get a bunch of different items that aren't what I searched for. And when I try to search by "ending soonest" it doesn't work either.

What do I do? Any solutions?

Thanks for responding. I like to buy basketball trading cards. I'll search like "Michael Jordan card" or a specific card like "Anthony Edward rookie card Crown Royale" and some cards or items that don't match that player will come up. Also, when I click the feature " time ending soonest" it doesn't show the items that sale is ending the soonest. It seems like my search it messed up

A search for Michael Jordan card will turn up every listing in the Trading Card Singles category with the keywords Michael and Jordan anywhere in the title or the item specifics. That is currently about 320,000 results, including some that have little or nothing to do with Michael Jordan -- such as cards for Jordan Love and Michael Pratt offered together as a set, and Michael B. Jordan boxing cards. And lots of listings where sellers have included Michael Jordan in the item specifics just so the listing turns up in the maximum number of searches.

That is far too many to look through, particularly since eBay will only display the first 10,000 results of any search.

"Ending soonest" only matters for auctions, since fixed price listings do not actually end.

Searching michael-jordan with the dash will get rid of listings where the two words are not in consecutive order.

Try narrowing your search using filters, such as a team or a sport.

If you want auctions that are ending soon, search specifically for auctions:

Or auctions with at least one bid:
