scrolling messages from eBay such as 'ending soon' or 'outbid' on my computer - how to end them?
I have several open bids and watchlist items most of the time. On the right side of my computer monitor, I get very repetitive eBay messages that show the item with messages such as 'ending soon' or 'outbid'. You can click straight through to the specific item from the message.
They are extremely annoying - 'ending soon' apparently means 'in the next few days' to eBay. If you've increased your bid so you are no longer 'outbid', you keep seeing the same 'outbid' message over and over.
How do I stop them altogether or filter them to be more meaningful to me?

Mentor2 years agoI used to see those messages, but only when I used Chrome on a certain laptop.
Try a different browser to see if those messages are browser-dependent.
You could also try waiting until the end of an auction to bid to minimize the time that outbid notices will bother you.
