scams on eBay
April 9 I bid on a 1795 flowing hair dollar which looked pretty good for the price, It had no bids and starting bid at $1600. That coin if original would have been worth that or more. This was one of those if it looks too good to be true, it probably is so the very next day after winning item and paying, I sought to cancel the order. that never happened. So after calling ebay they told me I had to wait until the 21st and then open an item not received claim as it was never shipped to me. Then on the 21st when I opened item not received claim they said wait another 3-5 business days for my refund. Today is May 1st and I still haven't been refunded. Wondering if eBay is investing funds for profit while dragging out time. Seems like a scam and I'm sure illegal,
Anybody else have issues like this?

Mentor5 months ago@bsb1122 A buyer can only request to cancel an order. The seller can accept or decline. If they do neither the sale is supposed to go forward after 3 days.
You need to return to the refund request and Ask eBay to Step in. eBay will then force the refund from the seller.
How to ask us to step in
Go to Purchases
You can ask eBay to step in and help on a refund request on the 4th business day after opening the case. Since you opened the case on the 21st you could have asked eBay to step in on the 27th. I know that this seems like it should have been automatic since you already talked to an agent but this is the way the site works.
