I purchased an item on e bay and paid for it, the shipping was paid for Over nite from Illinois to Ny . it never arrived, after waiting 5 days from purchase , 3 of them business days , I contacted the seller, who never replied
after informing e bay, i received a reply from the seller at 2:224 Am 10/22/2025 that My item was now being shipped preventing the Cancellation I requested on 10/22 from eBay , I decided to wait for this package assuming it was valid, on 10/24 I received a text stating the item was delivered , I Immediately Contacted the shipper FED EX and requested confirmation of the alleged delivery . C.S.R. from FED EX; Joselyn reached at 1-800-463-3339 performed a search of this Tracking Numer and stated this Tracking Number originated thru
Kohl's dept store in Ronkonkoma, NY , and was shipped to an Address in Medford , the ADDRESS DELIVERED to IS NOT THIS BUYERS ADDRESS, due to privacy laws the FED EX Rep , would not Divulge the address , However she did Repeatedly Confirm that the Item was NOT repeat NOT Delivered to the Buyers given address ., this Item was NOT as DESCRIBED , and the seller apparently used someone else's Tracking number to deny Cancelation, eBay has been informed of every step of this transaction and to date has done NOTHING to Remedy this FRAUD . The Seller has a BLOCK on his Messaging Denying any access to make contact , and on 10/27/2025 sent an eBay message with a Code Number stating not to forget this number , this code number has nothing to do with the sale , and has just now been sent to me a full 10 days after purchase , this code is for what?? exactly the seller does not state what the code is for , other than a statement not to forget it ????? what exactly is this for or is it to further Delay or Deny Delivery of what I Already know was an Intentional LIE, and deception of this seller who did Intentionally use a False Tracking number . delivered to an unknown address , NOT to my stated address, AGAIN the ITEM was NOT AS DESCRIBED !!!!!

I’m so sorry that you encountered the infamous ‘Fake tracking number scam’. There are TWO ways to deal with it. [The one through eBay is slower and less direct.]
#1. File a ‘return request’ from your Purchase History, choosing ‘Doesn’t match description’ as the reason for the request. ‘Ask eBay to step in’ from your open request after ‘3 business days +1 day’ have passed if you haven’t received a refund by then.
If you’re provided with a prepaid shipping label … attach it to a box or envelope, and return it with the word ‘Fraud’ (or whatever you want) inside.
#2. Phone your credit card company, and ask to be transferred to their Fraud Department. Tell the fraud agent you are the victim of the ‘Fake tracking number scam’ and request a chargeback.
