I have gotten msgs from EBAY, saying i charged items worth over $1434. NOT TRUE. ARE THERE ACTUAL PEOPLE OUT THERE DOING THINGS LIKE THIS? I'M SO **bleep** RIGHT NOW. HAS ANYONE ELSE DEALT WITH AN ISSUE LIKE THIS?

Or are those messages scam messages designed to get you to follow a link to what appears to be eBay but is really not and to provide your credentials to a scammer?
Instead of using a link in a suspect message, open a browser and go to eBay directly, then check your account for any sign of purchases you may have made.
