Scammer holding my item
I received and accepted an offer from a buyer and when I visit his profile it tells sellers he can’t pay until we communicate via email. Clearly he’s a scammer but I see no way to report him and now my item is marked as sold for the whole weekend. Because he has this posted to his page and his message also tells sellers to cancel if they don’t want to text, which clearly I don’t want to, is that enough to cancel the order and use the reason “buyer asked to cancel?†Such a mess. And really why isn’t there a way to report a profile as a scammer overall? eBay def needs that. Thanks.

Mentor2 years agoYou can use this page to report the buyer - https://spd.ebay.com/RBASellerHub - I have never had to use it, so you might need to get creative to make your problem fit in one of the categories - I think one is about messages.
I would cancel as buyer requested base on the message you read, but I would take a screen grab of the message in case he removes it and complains.
