Scammer didn’t refund me, but eBay says I was refunded
I recently ordered a high dollar pair of running shoes from a scam seller, took 10 pictures of the clearly knockoff shoes, and submitted the complaint to eBay along with my return/refund. The shoes were accepted to be returned and refunded, so I waited for the refund after shipping them back. 3 days later, the order status said I was refunded and it should hit my account in 3-5 business days. It’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t received the money in my account. Please help!!!

Mentor3 weeks agoRefunds go back to the funding source. If that was a credit card, it can take up to one billing cycle for the refund to show up on your bank statement.

OP3 weeks agoWhat if the card on file to receive my refund was lost/cancelled when the refund was issued, then I update my card on file? That’s actually what happened.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you lost/cancelled the card, then it would be your responsibility to locate the refund that was issued....call the credit card company.
