Scammer Buyer
Summary: bp2112 reported an issue with a buyer on eBay involving a shirt they sold as black, which the buyer claimed was blue. bp2112 believes the buyer is attempting to scam them by swapping the shirts and requesting a refund, despite the seller's clear listing photos. They are frustrated with eBay's support, as their refund was reversed and calls for assistance have been unhelpful. momtoabeautifuldaughter questioned the color of the shirt in the provided photo.
Hey all. Need you experienced sellers help.
Had a buyer make a sale on a new solid black polo shirt I had listed. After the buyer received the shirt they immediately contacted EBay and asked them to get
Involved and wanted a refund. They claimed my ad was mislabeled and I sent them a blue shirt instead of a black shirt. Well the shirt was personally mine. I know what color it was. My pics in my listing were clear.
I’m convinced the blue shirt is not mine and the buyer is swapping the different shirts and wanting a refund and getting a free shirt and EBay decided to give the refund to them after telling me I was correct and awarded me my funds which they reversed and took back.
I have tried and tried to get in touch with a higher level support in the US and they will not put me through to anyone. I just keep getting tossed back and forth between foreign countries. Any suggestions.

Mentor1 month ago@bp2112 I understand that this is frustrating. You need to accept the return and provide the return shipping label. As @momtoabeautifuldaughter showed it does appear navy in the photo. Buyers often only buy based on the picture and don't read anything else.
If the buyer files a refund request SAYING that the item is not as described then you need to accept the return and issue the return shipping label.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrules your returns policy. Your return policy is only for buyers remorse refund requests such as doesn't fit, changed mind, etc.
If you do not accept the return willingly then the buyer can ask eBay to step in and force a refund. You do not get your seller's fees back, you get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.
