Scammed with a new trick
I bought a small label for my bike from a guy in Taiwan...he claimed to have shipped the product but never sent a tracking number, so the product never arrived even though it appeared to be delivered through the mail system ( USPS) I went to the nearby post office 5 times and nothing ever showed up; I complained to the seller and he very skillfully told me that I should wait for the complaint letter from the postal system, where I had to certify that the product never arrived... I filed a complaint with the seller and he just teased me by saying wait for the letter from the mail, they completely passed 21 days without response and then eBay canceled the claim, without allowing me to do anything; So eBay canceled my guaranteed money back protection and the seller kept the money and never sent the product.
Don't let them scam you like this...go on and on complaining, nothing like this has ever happened to me in 16 years and I spent 3 hours scrolling through the page to find where to complain and the system won't accept my appeal...eBay is filling up with scammers, although it was only US$18 dollars, I feel very sorry for eBay for supporting this type of fraudulent practices without even allowing me to appeal to prove how I was scammed. Avoid buying Chinese garbage so as not to be scammed and demand a tracking number.

Mentor2 years ago@charliehillmanminx1960 sorry that you had a bad seller. You should have asked eBay to step in and help from the refund request before it expired.
You can try contacting customer service and see if you can appeal since the seller purposefully stalled you so the case would time out.
I recommend social media..
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
