Mentor3 years agoOnce you have given a gift card number to someone, they can spend the money on the card. That is why scammers request gift cards.
After the card number has been revealed, the only way to stop that is to spend the money first.
Scammers know this, and as a result, scammers spend the money as quickly as possible to prevent you from doing that. That is why you should avoid giving your gift card number to anyone.
