Scammed by 0 seller
So took a chance on a good price on a laptop. It was a 0 seller, but took the chance, like an idiot. Paid. Now the old listing is gone, no way to see the original listing, can't email seller cause he's apparently long gone and ebay says it's too late to cancel the order even though it hasn't been shipped.
Do I have to wait to go through all the steps to get my money back when eBay obviously knows it was fraudulent? If I could talk to a human at ebay they'd see in 10 seconds it was all **bleep**.
and even scarier, are these sellers able to actually ripoff ebay so easily?

Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. You can file a Refund Request if you do not receive your item and the estimated date of delivery has passed.
What do you mean that the seller is "apparently long gone"? What do you see when you go to your Purchase History and click on Order Details?

OP3 years agoEmails to him get an error. And clicking on his name brings up an error page.

Try contacting the seller by going to your Purchase History, find the item and use the drop down menu under "More actions" to choose "Contact seller".
Or you can go to the seller's feedback profile page and click on "Contact member".

OP3 years agoI appreciate your response. But I've been on ebay for 15 years. I know how things work. I tried what you mentioned and none worked, or I would have done that. It is impossible to contact the seller (I get a messaging error) and he has no feedback page because he has no Seller page anymore...like I stated, he disappeared, and so did the listing. Whether eBay knocked him off or he just canceled everything I'm not sure. Obviously it was a too good to be true auction by a scamming 0 seller that I fell for. Hopefully eBay DOES NOT give this pinhead any money, and will return my money as soon as I file a "non delivered item" report in a week or so.

OP3 years agoThe item is in my purchase history but nowhere else. I chatted with ebay and I jist need to wait to see what happens. But assured me I am protected if it turns out to be fraudulent.
