scammed and the ebay runaround
seller took hundreds of pre-orders and then disappeared. No longer a registered user. Ebay sent an email saying fraud with the account. Now dealing with non-helpful ebay robots and idiotic non-helpful automated dummies.

Sellers of presale items are required to provide the exact date the item becomes available in the listing and are also required to ship within 40 business days of the sale. But users must know about the policy in order to use the Money Back Guarantee in the time allowed.
On eBay, buyers have up to thirty days from the last estimated shipping date shown in the Purchase History to file a case. After that, eBay can no longer help.

PayPal and most credit cards provide some protection for up to 180 days from the time of purchase. Check with your card issuer to see if you have any options remaining.

Last estimated shipping date ( shown last month on seller's website ) was listed as May, 2025. Numerous other sellers had already received the product and were shipping. A week after i inquired , with no reply, as to why it would take another3 months, i received Ebays message about fraud with that account. Shortly after, seller was listed as' no longer a registered user.' I don't believe any orders were ever shipped to anyone.

It is the last estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History at the time of your initial purchase that eBay goes by.
If you are unable to file an item not received case because you missed the deadline, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Be sure to indicate that the seller is no longer registered.
