Scammed
Hi, I believe I have been scammed. I purchased an item and after a few minutes the person sent a message stating the item was already sold, I replied ok. Then asked when the refund would be taken care of, no reply since. Seems odd to reply to the purchase and now no contact at all.

Really sorry that happened ... the date you want to keep an eye on is the original estimated delivery date. One day past that is when you can process a claim.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
You can file a claim via the item in your Purchase History that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date and up to 30 days after that. Follow the steps in the claim and they will lead to an eventual refund.

OP6 months agoWell, that’s just it. There’s nothing to ship because he stated the item was already sold long ago. So why have it listed😡. Since that first message he has not replied to my questions.

If the Seller does not ship but you paid for the item you have to file a claim that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date. Some Sellers cross list their items on multiple sites and get in trouble when they sell it on one venue and don't remove it from the other venue(s).
The seller will probably not reply any more, eBay does not force them to either. There are MILLIONS of Sellers, really sorry you found a bad one.
