Scammed
Paid for items not received then seller blocked me but before blocking me seller reached out to send me a bid offer for the amount of $1,400.00 to be paid directly to his business instead of accepting the offer on eBay because eBay takes a lot of fees for the item for sale. Seller asked to pay by credit card to his direct company and $1,400.00 was paid with confirmation number payment accepted and including the name and phone number of the eBay seller. Once $1,400.00 was processed and paid seller blocked me and never sent item completely blocked me from all corners of communication and eBay is asking me to communicate with the scammer… does that make any sense? How do you communicate with a scammer who stole $1,400.00 and let me get victimized and let the seller continue like scamming innocent people is his 9 to 5 business and still allowing the seller to have an active account?

Mentor11 months agoSince you willingly paid the seller $1,400 outside of Ebay, Ebay won't be able to help you. Contact your card company to dispute the charge and contact law enforcement.
