Scamers using ebay cards

Question

My Facebook page was hacked I googled Facebook personal this lady came said she's with Facebook and could help me. She instructed me to go to the store look for ebay and target cards put $200 each on 5cards and read her the code off so she can get thru the security code and get the 72 hackers off my page. $2600 later im outa my money and still no page , can I get some help?Please!!!

If your FB acount was hacked, you should be contacting them. As far as the gift cards, as soon as you gave them the numbers, the money was gone.

Any time someone you do not know asks you for gift cards, you are dealing with a scammer.

Gift cards are like cash; once anyone else knows the code, the money can be spent and there is nothing you can do after that.

Scammers often put up fake pages and take out ads so those pages appear in Google searches. If you follow a link to such an ad, you will wind up on a scammer's page and the scammer will ask you to purchase gift cards or install remote access software on your computer to allow the scammer to get into all your accounts.
