SCAM or Legit from Ebay
I keep getting emails in my "From members" folder asking me to "re-check" my profile.
Lots of red flags...
1. threatening tone. i.e. "not negotiable", "you must do your part"
2. unprofessional signature: "EbAYSupportTeam!"
3. link to a non- ebay.com page
So, I texted support on the ebay site to confirm and they said it was legit?
BUT... they didn't give me any confidence that they either understood my question or even took the time to investigate.
Is this truly legit? Anybody have knowledge of what a "profile recheck" is? And why would ebay give me a link to an .icu domain?

Mentor9 months ago@miklindgre-0 A message from eBay will NOT be in your "From Members" message folder, it will be in your FROM eBay Folder. Click report on the upper right of the message.
If you also received a copy as an email forward it to spoof@ebay.com
You will need to contact eBay customer service phone agent for assistance.
However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.
1. Verity that name and address on your eBay account matches your checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license.
2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.
3. Contact Customer service
Click this link> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814
Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.
Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
When I tested this I was given the option to call eBay or request a call back. If given the option to call you should select that option. Don't use the chat as you are talking to AI half of the time.
