Scam Messages On My Account
Afternoon,
I received two messages from WITHIN my eBay account, as well as two emails to my personal email, one from "Support 93-88" and another from "Support 32_3862", both pertaining to the same item I put up for sale today, and stating:

Is this real or a scam?

It is a scam.
eBay will not send you a message from an unknown user account and ask you to copy and paste a link into your browser's address bar. That is something scammers do.

Many users are receiving scam eBay messages purportedly from eBay (but actually from numbered user accounts starting with "support" or "verifybot") asking users to go to a non-eBay web page to verify account information.
